Hall-of-Famers to Keynote CSCMP Dinner April 28th at Levi’s Stadium

Ronnie Lott, Adam Walker Set Stage for ‘Champions of Innovation:’Google, GoPro, Jawbone

SAN FRANCISCO, CA– March 24, 2015 — The San Francisco Roundtable of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) announced today that 49er Hall of Famers Ronnie Lott and Adam Walker will together keynote the 3rd Annual Innovation Event on April 28, 2015. Widely considered one of the best Defensive Backs ever to play the game, Ronnie Lott played in five San Francisco 49r Super Bowls and Adam Walker played on the 1995 Super Bowl champion team.

Screen Shot 2016-01-21 at 3.41.39 PMThe two will share insights on ‘Winning’ that have carried over into successful post-football careers:  Ronnie Lott is now with Bennu Ventures, which partners with proven entrepreneurs and established investors to build great companies; Successful Bennu investments run from Yammer and Violin Memory to Bloom Energy and DollarShave Club. Adam Walker is now a key player in high tech supply chain management (SCM), as CEO of Summit Container, implementing a growth strategy focused on technology, innovation, new market and M&A-accelerated expansion.  Summit is renowned for its electrostatic discharge protective (ESD) packaging for semiconductor and high-value high tech.

This year, CSCMP’s Innovation event will be a private dinner in the Tailgate section of Chef Michael Mina’s Bourbon & Steak Restaurant – with CSCMP members and guests enjoying open networking before and after the event, as an insider ‘sneak preview’ of Super Bowl 50 , which will take place at Levi’s Stadium, less than one year from now.

All participants will enjoy the keynote address, dinner with on-stage discussion of innovation, moderated by Event Chair, Michele Carroll, president of Carrollco Marketing Services.  This year’s panelists are the manufacturing and operations leaders of Champions of Innovation:   Google, GoPro and Jawbone, who will candidly discuss how their companies are leveraging big data to drive innovation and transform the way we live and do business.
