Showcases Jawbone, Sandisk, Levi-Strauss Best Practices in Innovation & Leadership

Craig Cuffie (Jawbone), Wally Sanabria (Sandisk), Michele Carroll (Carrollco Marketing), Mary Palafox (Levi-Strauss & Co.), Joel Sutherland (San Diego SCM Institute)
Leaders and practitioners from all walks of supply chain management life shared in a highly entertaining breakfast event on April 24, 2014 – the 2nd Annual CSCMP SF Roundtable Innovation Breakfast, chaired by Michele Carroll, President & Founder of Carrollco Marketing Services.
- Joel Sutherland, Executive Director of the University of San Diego’s prestigious Supply Chain Management Institute delivered a keynote speech that was both thought provoking and entertaining.
- Wally Sanabria highlighted Sandisk’s world leadership in eliminating conflict minerals from its supply chain – saying that‘complying with Dodd-Frank is a piece of cake; serving our much more demanding customers is the challenge.’
- Then we heard from Craig Cuffie on what’s driving the fast-growing wearable wireless market, his company’s vision for serving that market and key supply chain challenges (and everyone present got a Jawbone 24!).
- For wrap up, we heard from Levi Strauss’ Red Tab Foundation’s Executive Director Mary Palafox, on strides it’s making to help its people, present and past, with financial difficulties.
As Michele mentioned in closing, what’s new and different and exciting in supply chain managment optimization today is the renewed and enhanced focus on people!
“The best part was Michele interviewing Craig Cuffie on stage. It was excellent material coming across like two friends chatting!”
“Kudos for featuring Mary from Levi’s Red Tab Foundation ][helping the people of Levi’s] — not something you see often at these events, but so powerful!”
