Prior to founding of Arbor, Melissa was the Managing Director, member of the Investment Committee and head of VantagePoint Asia. Arbor Ventures is investing in FinTech, Big Data and Digital Commerce. Arbor has offices in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Tokyo and Tel Aviv, and invests in companies that have a regional or global reach.
Andrew Tang, Partner, Draper Associates
Andy is a Partner at DraperDragon and Draper Associates in Silicon Valley. He has over 20 years of operating, research and development, investment banking and investing experience in the high-tech space. In his career he co-founded DraperDragon Fund in 2006 to focus on cross-border investing. He has seeded 10 unicorns and has led/managed healthcare and digital investments.
Chibo Tang, Managing Partner, Gobi Ventures
Chibo is a Hong Kong-based partner of China headquartered venture capital firm Gobi Ventures, which manages the Alibaba HK Entrepreneurs Fund. dedicated to investing in Hong Kong startups and nurture the local startup ecosystem. The funds invest in local Hong Kong entrepreneurs across a wide range of sectors, including AI, Industry 4.0, Fintech, Consumer, Healthcare, and Sustainability, and spans a broad stage focus from seed to series C and later.

Kelvin is on a mission to leverage smart technology and to make next-generation investment services accessible to the general public. He founded Aqumon in 2015 after holding financial positions at Deutsche Bank, CIC, and Credit Suisse. Aqumon, one of Hong Kong’s fintechs to watch, recently raised $30 million from Alibaba Entrepreneurs Fund, Cyberport, Zheng He Capital, Lenovo Capital and angel investors.
Kai Wu, Greater China CEO, Airwallex
Airwallex is a digital payments platform transforming the way businesses move and manage money globally. Launched in 2015 by CEO & co-founder Jack Zhang, based in Hong Kong, the company recently raised $100 million at a $5 billion valuation. Investors include Tencent and Sequoia Capital China. Kai has been instrumental to build out Airwallex business across Greater China, and is also part of the leadership team that drives the company’s broader strategy.
Elsa Pau, Founder & CEO, BlueOnion
Elsa is CEO of WealthAsia Group and the founder of fintech portal, BlueOnion. Her latest venture promotes responsible investing and clarity by exposing asset managers’ qualitative and sustainability performances. She advocates for investor protection and drives compelling propositions that benefit real change for the finance community. Elsa is a finance industry veteran who focuses on sustainable, responsible, and impact investing and currently serves as an investment governor for a few family offices in Asia.
